Our Commitment to Privacy

Feline Consulting LLC (“Feline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information when you visit or use our websites and related features (the “Site”) and when you engage with our outsourced finance and accounting services, including Finance Team Extension (FTE), Back Office Accounting Function (BAF), and related offerings (the “Services”). The Site and Services together are the “Platform.”

This Policy does not apply to third-party applications, software, or services that integrate with our Services (“Third-Party Services”), which are governed by their own privacy policies. If you access our Services through an employer or another organization (a “Customer”), your account and information may be controlled by that Customer and we may process certain data at their direction. If you have questions about Customer-controlled settings, please contact the Customer administrator.

1. Personal Information

For purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.

2. What Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Platform, we may collect the following categories of Personal Information:

2.1 Identifiers

Information such as your name, email address, telephone number, online identifier, IP address, business contact details, and similar identifiers.

2.2 Commercial Information

Information about Services you purchased, considered, or requested, and the content of related communications with us.

2.3 Internet or Network Activity

Browsing and interaction data such as pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, search terms used on our Site, and other activity on the Platform.

2.4 Device and Technical Information

Information such as IP address, general geographic location derived from IP, operating system, browser type, language preferences, device identifier, and other technical identifiers associated with the device used to access the Platform.

2.5 Geolocation Data

Imprecise location information, such as city/state/ZIP code associated with your IP address.

2.6 Professional or Employment-Related Information

Information you provide about your role, company, business operations, or employment-related details relevant to scoping or delivering Services.

2.7 Audio and Visual Data

Recordings of calls or video conferences, where permitted by law and with notice and/or consent as required.

2.8 Financial / Business Records Provided for Services (“Client Data”)

When you engage us for Services, you or your organization may provide financial and operational data to support delivery of Services (e.g., general ledger exports, invoices, bills, payroll summaries, bank statements, financial reports, vendor/customer records, and related documentation). This data may include Personal Information about employees, contractors, customers, or vendors where applicable and as provided by the Customer.

2.9 Sensitive Personal Information

We do not intentionally request Sensitive Personal Information for Site browsing. In the Services context, Customers may provide data that includes sensitive elements (e.g., bank account numbers within statements, tax identifiers, payroll-related data) if necessary for the Services. We expect Customers to minimize Sensitive Personal Information where feasible and to share it only when necessary. We use such data only to provide the Services and for permitted business purposes described in this Policy.

2.10 Other Information You Provide

Any other information you choose to submit (e.g., through forms, surveys, support requests, or emails).


3. How We Collect Personal Information

3.1 Directly From You

We collect information you provide when you contact us, request information, schedule calls, submit forms, subscribe to updates, or use the Platform.

3.2 Automatically Through the Platform

We may collect certain information automatically, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and usage data via cookies and similar technologies.

3.3 From Third Parties

We may receive information from third parties such as service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors), Customer administrators, referral sources, and Third-Party Services you choose to connect or use with our Services. We may combine information from different sources as permitted by law.


4. How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information for the following purposes:

4.1 Customer Service and Communications

To respond to requests, provide support, send administrative communications, and communicate about your engagement with the Platform.

4.2 Provide and Improve Services

To deliver Services, operate the Platform, manage accounts, provide onboarding, perform quality assurance, and improve service delivery and Platform performance.

4.3 Business Operations

To operate our business, including: invoicing and payment processing, resource planning, internal reporting, security, fraud prevention, and enforcing our agreements.

4.4 Marketing

To send marketing communications, promotions, event invitations, and informational content, where permitted. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails.

4.5 Legal and Compliance

To comply with legal obligations, protect rights and safety, respond to lawful requests, and prevent or investigate wrongdoing.

4.6 Aggregated / De-Identified Data

We may use and disclose aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data for lawful purposes (e.g., analytics, benchmarking, service improvement). Such information is not subject to this Policy to the extent it does not identify an individual.


5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may share Personal Information as follows:

5.1 Service Providers

With vendors that help us operate the Platform and deliver Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, communications, document management, security tools, and payment processing). Service providers may access Personal Information only as needed to perform services for us and are required to protect it.

5.2 Third-Party Services

If you choose to connect third-party tools or platforms, we may share information as needed to enable those integrations or workflows.

5.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5.4 Legal, Safety, and Rights Protection

With government authorities, law enforcement, or private parties when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect rights or property, prevent fraud or security issues, or protect the safety of any person.

5.5 Professional Advisors

With attorneys, accountants, auditors, and other advisors as necessary for professional services to us.

5.6 With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information with third parties at your request or with your explicit consent.

We do not sell Personal Information and we do not share Personal Information with third parties for their independent marketing use. We may share limited information with advertising partners to measure and improve our campaigns (e.g., via pixels or conversion APIs), but we do not permit them to use your Personal Information for their own independent marketing purposes.


6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (including pixel tags and web beacons) to understand how our Site is used, improve performance, remember preferences, and measure marketing effectiveness.

Most browsers allow you to manage cookies via settings. Disabling cookies may impact certain Site features. You can learn more at allaboutcookies.org.

7. Analytics Tools

We may use analytics and tag management tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) to understand Site usage and improve performance. These providers may set cookies or similar technologies and receive usage data (including IP address and device identifiers) subject to their policies. 8. Interest-Based Advertising

We may use advertising features from providers such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn to measure campaign performance and deliver relevant ads. You can control ad personalization through the applicable provider’s settings.


9. Your Choices

9.1 Email Preferences

You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in our emails. Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent.

9.2 Text Messages

If we send texts with your permission, you can opt out at any time by replying “STOP.”

9.3 Access, Correction, and Deletion

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Personal Information. To submit a request, contact us at eva.green@felineconsulting.com.

If you use the Services through a Customer, the Customer controls many aspects of your account and may need to submit requests on your behalf.


10. Anti-Spam Policy

We do not send unsolicited bulk email and we do not authorize third parties to send spam on our behalf. Marketing communications are intended to be opt-in and compliant with applicable anti-spam laws (including CAN-SPAM where applicable).

11. Social Media

We may maintain profiles on social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn). Content you post on social media is public and governed by the platform’s policies. We may reference or repost public interactions consistent with platform functionality.

12. Recordings

Where permitted by law and with notice and/or consent as required, we may record calls or video conferences for quality, training, documentation, and service delivery purposes. We retain recordings only as long as necessary for these purposes or as required by law.

13. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under applicable California privacy laws. Where required, we will provide disclosures and respond to verified requests in accordance with applicable law. 15. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
